چکیده

Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) has become an integral part of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in today's life. VANET is a network that can be heavily scaled up with number vehicles and road side units keep fluctuating real world. susceptible to security issues, particularly DoS attacks, owing maximum unpredictability location. So, effective identification the classification attacks have major requirements for secure data transmission VANET. At same time, congestion control also one key research problems which aims at minimizing time expended on roads calculating travel as well waiting intersections, traveler. With this motivation, current paper presents intelligent attack detection Congestion Control (IDoS-CC) technique The presented IDoS-CC involves two-stage processes namely, Teaching Learning Based Optimization (TLBO)-based (TLBO-CC) Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU)-based (GRU-DoSD). goal reduce level detect exist network. TLBO algorithm involved optimization routes taken by via traffic signals minimize particular route instantaneously so assure minimal fuel utilization. applied avoid roadways. 7758 Sybil Attack Detection Technique for Vanets : a Novel Scheme

Vehicle adhoc networks (VANET) are an application of Mobile adhoc networks (MANET). VANET performs management of traffic very well. It also circulates safety information to drivers and passengers in the vehicle. Here, in this paper we have proposed a novel scheme of Sybil attack detection mechanism or algorithm by using which the trajectory path communication among vehicles for identification w...

Congestion Control Algorithm In Vanets

A Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) are technology that uses moving cars as nodes in a network to create a mobile network. VANET turns every participating car into a wireless router, allowing cars of each other to connect and create a network with a wide range. VANETs are developed for enhancing the driving safety and comfort of automotive users. The VANETs can provide wide variety of services...

Mitigating congestion based DoS attacks with an enhanced AQM technique

Denial of Service (DoS) attacks are currently one of the biggest risks any organization connected to the Internet can face. Hence, the congestion handling techniques at the edge router(s), such as Active Queue Management (AQM) schemes must take into account such attacks. Ideally, an AQM scheme should (a) ensure that each network flow gets its fair share of bandwidth, and (b) identify attack flo...

A Mechanism for Detecting and Identifying DoS attack in VANET

VANET (Vehicular Ad-hoc Network) which is a hy- brid network (combination of infrastructure and infra- structure-less networks) is an emergent technology with promising future as well as great challenges especially in security. By the other hand this type of network is very sensible to safety problem. This paper focuses on a new mechanism for DoS (denial of service) attacks on the physical and ...

Detection of Sybil Attack in VANETs

he vehicular adhoc network is the decentralized type of network. The vehicle nodes can join or leave the network when they want. In the such type of network security, routing and quality of service are the three major issues of the network. In the network malicious node is present which is responsible to trigger various types of active and passive attacks. The Sybil attack is the active types o...
